Sexual harassment is a highly pervasive and often normalized experience for racially minoritized girls and women. Working with Born in Bradford Centre for Social Change, we aim to understand how racially minoritized girls’ experiences of sexual harassment link to broader developmental outcomes including mental health.

Specifically, we will:

  1. Use existing longitudinal data (Age of Wonder) to examine the relationships between harassment experiences and wellbeing.
  2. Engage girls living in Bradford in longitudinal research that aims to understand how harassment experiences and wellbeing entwine over time.
  3. Co-design community interventions to improve outcomes
