Local authorities and schools have an important role to play in supporting youth health and wellbeing but need up-to-date, useful & relevant data on local needs to successfully deliver evidence-based policy and practice. Working in partnership with City of York Council, YorSay will provide a snapshot understanding of youth health and wellbeing in York at the school and city level.

Co-funded by the ESRC and City of York Council, we will:

1. Co-design and deliver the YorSay School Health and Wellbeing Survey to primary and secondary schools across the City of York.

2. Produce a report on youth health and wellbeing at the city-level, as well as for participating schools.

3. Engage young people, schools, policymakers, and academics, in determining an agenda for future research, policy and practice.
